Working in a variety of mediums her favourite versatile styles entertain the viewer whilst challenging innovative ideas to the very edge.

 

Artists Biography

 

After becoming a full time artist in 1995 her work has continued to flourish,working from her studio in Renfrewshire.  Her distinctive paintings and dazzling use of colour and technique create a strong “Signature Style” with a cosmopolitan appeal already

gaining her huge acclaim with an outstanding exhibition history, featuring in many

private collections around the World.

 

Artists Profile

 

Born in 1972 Laura started painting at an early age.  Before becoming a full time artist she worked for a Glasgow based architect.  Now painting from her studio in Houston for many years endeavouring to paint on a daily basis, exhibiting her work

both nationally and internationally featuring in many private and corporate collections showing widely in many selected shows and galleries across the UK.

 

A STRONG MIXTURE OF INFLUENCES ARE A FLUID STATEMENT OF HER EVOLVING INVENTORY OF HUGELY COLLECTABLE AND COSMOPOLITAN FINE ART.

 

Culture & Background

 

Laura comes from a very musical and artistic family.  Art and fashion being paramount.  Music whilst growing up was an integral part of life too.  Listening to the old standards  as well as Latin American and classical music not to mention just about every other music genre too.

Laura has travelled to many European destinations as well as San Francisco New York and the Southern States.  Her work conveys a zest and passion for life.  She has been completely dedicated to painting for 18 years and has very much enjoyed the transitional periods of creative development.

 

Inspired both by past and present from Turner and the Glasgow Colourists her in vogue contemporary vista and style continues to grow.
